  • Very nice campground. Bathrooms are very clean. Lots of space on the larger camp sites. Tons of trees and grass. Several ponds, stuff to do for kids, petting zoo was fun. Very nice place.

  • Nice people and great campground. Showed up without reservations and got a site no problem. We did come up in their off season but there was still plenty to see in tobermory which is a short 5 minute drive from the campground. Did the glass bottom boat tour to flower pot island, and went to see the grotto. Both are a must see.

I'm sure everything they leave in the reply to this will be condescending, and completely exaggerated because that's just how the people were there so I will not even bother to go into detail as they have a knack at completely twisting everything in the most belittling way. I would take every reply you have read by them with a barrel of salt. A very disappointing experience. I should mention this group of friends and I have camped at numerous campsites over past years and have never been treated so disrespectfully. They assumed the total worst, that I was trying to steal and lie, completely humiliating me and ganging up on me in the office. As someone with social anxiety I could not relax after this shake down experience. I was disgusted with this entirely as everything was corrected once mistakes were realized in our part... and I am not my friend's husbands keeper. They judged completely on looks as we are young, some minority and some tattoo'd but we are all honest, hardworking people and there was apparently a lot of small print policy's to suck money out of me and my friends trying to respectfully enjoy our stay with our five children, one minor and 6 adults with the purchase of 3 premium cabins all of which are equipped with a pull out couch, a double bed and bunks so more than enough room. Have fun justifying your disgusting display of hypocrisy you are a shame to the religion you claim to represent and do damage to the testimony of Christ. Shame on you all. PS in response to response. Totally exaggerated, I thought parking was free for campers so took out my car pass (which had the number 2 written on it which to me was two grown ups or two cars)to let in my husband. When they told me I had to register that car I went straight to office, I had to go back for my debit I was so surprised I had to pay but gladly did. I told my friends it was eight dollars for a day pass for her husband, when I realized he hadn't left and had actually just been in the cabin and hadn't had to work (not my husband didn't know the plans had changed). I informed them of the grown ups per room as I was warned but our friend is a minor so we forgot about it figuring we did only have two adults per cabin. The next day they said no, we had to pay for the extra adults after the security had pulled up and stated we were "calling all our buddies" demeaningly and "telling them some story" sarcastically as if I was lying when I said I wasn't aware of the parking fee. We went to the office and then paid for the "extra" adult even though we only had 6 adults. Glad you replied and proved my point about how you assumed the absolute worst about us even though we were kind and paid for every misunderstanding. The petting zoo is also an extremely sad sight with tired dirty animals, a dog stuck in the sun from 12-4 so dirty even though I wanted to pet and love him I couldn't :(
