  Took my family for dinner after the ferry ride and had fairly high expectations from reading reviews on the web. Service was great but the food was a disaster. I ordered hot beef with rice pilaf where the rice was cold and dry and the slices of beef was tough, completely over cooked, and just plain disgusting. Tastes aside, shouldn't food atleast be served warm if not hot? I tipped normally not to penalize the server but the cook should be replaced if they want to continue business. Not recommended unless you enjoy cold and frozen dinner quality meals.

  Great place to have a beer and sit on the patio with your dog! Food is good too!

  I came to visit Tobermory for the first time. After reading some of the reviews we went for dinner with my wife @ Leaside Restaurant. The Calamari was very oily, The spaghetti with the meat souce has no test, presentation was also very bad. I informed the waitresses and the manager that the taste and presentation was terrible. I hope they will take my criticism positively and make some changes.
